Kinderplay
Through dramatic play, children develop their imagination, build self esteem and confidence. Kinderplay camps feature creative movement, crafts and literature-based activities. Camper Sharing Time with parents on the last day!

MINI-PLAYERS
This mini-play-in-a-week camp is specially designed for first-time actors! Aspiring young actors experience the steps involved in performing from auditioning and memorizing lines to performing for a live audience! Final performance for friends and family on the last day of camp. Being able to read makes this camp a lot more fun! If your child has trouble reading – give Explorer Theatre a try.

Play-In-A-Week
Developing actors will be immersed in the production process from auditions to performing. Every actor receives lines to memorize as they work on dramatic expression, volume, movement and theatrical techniques to create their very own performance for family and friends.

ALL-DAY PLAY-IN-A-WEEK

Experienced actors will get a chance to challenge themselves with some of the Bard's greatest works. Tragic and comedic scenes will come alive as students play many characters as well as tackling the beautiful sonnets. New this year will be a day of stage combat training! Students will get to grab a sword and walk through some of Shakespeare's great fight scenes. Full costumes and a lot of fun await, with a performance on the final day.

ALL-DAY MUSICAL
Students work to prepare a musical performance from auditions to performances (and all the vocal work, acting and choreography in between.) This special all-day class will broaden the acting, singing and dancing skills of campers as they prepare for a final performance for family and friends.

ALL-DAY TEEN INTENSIVE
Hairspray
This teen intensive class is for students with prior theater experience (GREAT, School or Church) that are looking for the intense challenge of creating a musical review of songs from HAIRSPRAY. This class will focus on dance and vocal training and exercises to build skills. Students will have fun challenging themselves while moving on from the theatre games traditionally played at GREAT Summer Camps. Britta Peterson returns to lead this professional training experience.

Cancellation & Class Changes: There will be a fee of $5.00 for each switched camp. Cancellations may be made up to two weeks prior to the start of camp, subject to a 15% cancellation fee. There will be no refunds made within the two weeks prior to the start of camp.
