The Benton Telecommunications Foundation granted $6,000 to GREAT for our Community Connections Program which was initiated in 2008 to make the arts more accessible for underprivileged families. In addition to providing an entry point into theatre for disadvantaged youth, the program also fosters unique interchanges between youth and GREAT’s cast, crew and staff through our Behind the Scenes Q & A sessions. The dollars will also be used to publically perform fairy tales for pre-school aged children and their families at libraries throughout central Minnesota.
From everyone at GREAT Theatre, we extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff and board at Benton Telecommunications Foundation for their investment in the Community Connections Program.
