Happy Wednesday! I can’t believe it’s been a week since we last updated here on the blog for Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. The good news is…we’re blocked & everything is Choreographed. Yahoo!!! In case you’re wondering…blocking is “where the actors move during lines.” In Joseph (since it is completely sung through) we actually should call it Musical Staging. So…the Musical Staging is done also. Now is when we start cleaning up all the movement, creating our characters and doing complete run throughs of the show. Tomorrow is the first night completely OFF-BOOK… they all have to be memorized. This rehearsal is the worst… but I’m hoping the Joseph cast will surprise us and be completely memorized ontime! I’ll let you know on Friday how it went. I’m also hoping to take some rehearsal pictures tonight and get them on here… stay tuned.
