Meet the Cast of Alexander!

Meet the Cast of Alexander!

Neal Beckman (Nick, Albert) was last seen on the GREAT stage one year ago in "If You Give a Mouse a Cookies" and is thrilled to be back!  REcently he has played Sir Toby Belch in "Twelfth Night" and interned with Door Shakespeare.  He also has been reading with American Shakespeare Rep and coaching high school storytellers.  Special thanks to his family for their support.

If I ever wake up and I've lost my voice so that I can't sing, I can tell it's going to be a terrible, horrible no good, very bad day!

Kurt Bender (Alexander) will be graduating from Northwestern College this coming May with a degree in Theatre and a Music Minor.  This spring he will be playing Fracasso in Northwestern College Opera's production of La finta semplice by Motzart.  Recent productions have included, Little Women, Children of Eden, Working, The Rope, The Secret Garden and Funny Men, among others.

Kathryn Fumie (Audrey, Phillip) has been having many terrific days with GREAT, joining them for the first time since graduating from Rutgers University, Mason Gross School of the Arts.  Kathryn recently moved to the Twin Cities and has worked with 20% Theatre Company and Theater Mu.  She has also acted with Acadia Repertory Theatre (Maine), Co-Lab (New Jersey) and at Shakespeare's Globe in London.  Many thanks to her ever-supportive family!

Mackenzie Lahren (Mother, Mrs. Dickens) has been in several GREAT shows since she started acting at age 14.  Some of her favorites are Do Black Patent Leather Shoes Really Reflect Up?, The Producers and most of all Seussical the Musical.  She is taking time off from college where she studied theatre and music.  She lives in St. Cloud and works at Mr. Twisty in the summer.  She loves Wii boxing, cereal and her dog, Tasha.

When I sleep through my alarm in the morning, lock my keys in my car, don't have clean socks and can't get a good cup of coffee, I know it's going to be a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day!

Gaberiel Murphy (Father, Dentist, Shoe Salesman) is absolutely THRILLED to be making his GREAT debut with Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day.  Gabe holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from Webster University's Conservatory of Theatre Arts.  A Kansas native, Gabe currently resides in  Minneapolis.  His theatrical credits include Medvedenko in The Seagull (Lamb Lays With Lion), Tansely in To The Lighthouse (Live Action Set: Nightcap Series), Ben Hecht in Moonlight and Magnolias (Kentucky Repertory Theatre), and Iarbus in the upcoming Dido (Theatre Pro Rata).  Thank you very much to this wonderful cast, crew and especially, Mom and Dad!

When I wake up to the noise of my little brothers stomping on the floor above me I know it's going to be a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day!

Mark Reber (Anthony, Paul) has appeared in a number of shows with GREAT.  Most recently as Max in The Sound of Music and Dan in Joseph...Dreamcoat.  Besides being on stage Mark also enjoys being outdoors, camping and learning American Sign Language.  Mark would like to thank each and everyone that supported him so strongly throughout all of his theatrical experiences.
