Jon Legg plays Hysterium.  Jon has performed on the GREAT stage for many a year, audiences will recognize him from Disney’s Aladdin, The Wizard of Oz, HSM, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Little Shop of Horrors and as Ugly in Honk.

Hysterium is the slave-in-chief of Domina and Senex.  Pseudolus tricks Hysterium into helping him…and through it all Hysterium tries, in vain, to remain calm.

What has been your favorite part of rehearsals? Jon: Rehearsal skirts.  Enough said.

How are you most like your character? Jon: It’s a choose your own answer:
A) I get worked up easily and sometimes wear dresses
B) I often mix potions
C) I am in search of a plump peahen

Trivia: Hysterium gets his name from the latin word for hysterical or anxious - hystericus.  Also, the man who originated the role of Hysterium, Jack Gilford, went on to have a great career in movies and tv…including the role of Gog along side Ringo Starr in ‘Caveman.’
