Rick Cicharz plays Pseudolus in “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum.”  Pseudolus is a clever, fast talking slave owned by Hero.  He attempts to earn his freedom by getting his master and Philia together. 

Rick was last seen on the GREAT stage as Mr. Warbucks in Annie.  He is also the theatre arts teacher at Sartell Middle School.

What is the best part about playing Pseudolus? Rick: It’s an extremely challenging role both physically and vocally.  It’s been a lot of fun being able to work with other adults and former students on stage.

What will the audience like about this show? Rick: The fast pace and the corney bits of the show.  It’s a great way to spend an evening.

Trivia: Pseudolus is based on the character Pseudolus from the play Pseudolus written by Plautus.
