Allison Williams plays Philia and David Symalla plays Hero.  Hero is the son of Senex and Domina, he falls in love with Philia when he sees her through the window of a neighboring house.  Hero learns that Philia is a courtesan and what’s more she has been sold to a great Roman Soldier.  Pseudolus, Hero’s slave, vows to get Philia and Hero together in exchange for his freedom…let the mayhem ensue.

Allison Williams has been involved in many GREAT productions including: West Side Story, Annie, Honk, Disney’s Aladdin, Joseph…, The Wizard of Oz and HSM.

David Symalla has been involved with GREAT since 1998 and has been involved in many, many productions.  Audiences will recognize him from his most recent turn as The Cat in the Hat in Seussical.

What is your favorite scene? Allison: “Bring Me My Bride” because Scott is adorable/amazing/a beast…pick your favorite description.

What has been the best part about reheasal so far? David: Working on blocking with Chris.  He always has his gears spinning.

If you had to sum up this show in one word, what would it be? David: Awesomest!  Allison: Chaotic.

Trivia: Philia is one of the Greek words for love.
The man who played Hero in the 1966 movie version of Forum, Michael Crawford, went on to win a best actor Tony as The Phantom of the Opera.
