The Proteans are: Alec Schroeder (Peter Pan, HSM2), Jared Walz (The Genie in Aladdin), Luis Maldonado (Little Shop of Horrors), Aaron Guck (The Wizard of Oz, HSM, Iago in Aladdin) and Nick Clasemann (Troy in HSM2).

These five very talented men help tell the story by playing many different roles.  You never know when they will pop into a scene.

What has been your favorite part about rehearsal so far? Aaron: Being in a show with talented adults, who know how to have a blast while learning at the same time.  Luis: Bonding with the other Proteans and being goofy and wild.  Working with old friends and meeting new friends.

What is your favorite scene or song? Alec: I like when Lycus and Pseudolus are preparing for Miles who will be coming for Philia.  It is too funny, I laugh every time.  Jared: My favorite song would have to be the opening number.  It definitely sets up how the musical is going to be.  Plus I do a somersault.  Nick: ‘Comedy Tonight’ because the choreography is super fun.  ‘Maid’ is hilarious to watch & Ted Brown looks amazing!

Trivia: Protean means - readily assuming different forms or characters; extremely variable.  In Greek mythology Proteus is a sea-god who can change form.  He can foretell the future but only if you can catch him.
