Meet the Forum Production Crew…Britta

Britta Peterson is the Choreographer for “A Funny Thing Happend on the Way to the Forum.”  The choreographer creates and then teaches the actors the dance moves for the production.  She will also assist the director and other production crew members in the overall look of the show.  She will make sure the dance portion of the show blends with the overall vision…music, costumes, set.

This will be Britta’s third production with GREAT.  She provided the choreography for Disney’s Aladdin and HSM2.  Britta also lends her mad choreography and dance skills to Edina High School along with other organizations.

What do you like most about choreographing this show? Britta: It has been an interesting challenge to choreograph comedy into the dance moves.  It’s also been a lot of fun to work with this older cast.

What is the most difficult part about choreographing this show? Britta: Sondheim.  Sondheim is tough to choreograph.

What will the audience like about this show? Britta: The humor, it’s just pure entertainment.
