Meet the Forum Production Crew…Chris

Chris Brown is the director for “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum.”  The director is in charge of the overall vision of the production.  He is then in charge of carrying out that vision from the first production meeting through opening night.  He makes sure that all aspects, set, costumes, choreography, music and his own blocking all fit together to make a complete production.

Chris has directed several productions for GREAT including; The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Honk, The Wizard of Oz, Disney’s Alice in Wonderland and Peter Pan.

What do you think the audience will like about this production?: Chris: There are some really heavy things in this script.  Some deep, life changing thoughts that can really make a person reexamine their life…we completely ignore those parts, but I think the audience will appreciate that they were once there.

What have you enjoyed the most about this production so far?: The crew and the actors in this show have been so much fun to work with.  Every rehearsal has been a lot of fun.

Above: Despite the glazed looks on the actors faces…we’re sure they are absorbing at least a little of Chris’ infinite wisdom.
