
Alison Feigh (Director/Choreographer) resides in St. Paul, but grew up performing on Community Theater stages in St. Cloud. She began working as a choreographer while in high school and went on to direct during her college years. Alison has choreographed several shows for GREAT including HSM, Peter Pan, Annie, and Fiddler on the Roof. She also served as the Asst. Director for RENT both at GREAT and in the Mpls. production through Cardinal Theatricals. Professionally, Alison Feigh works in the field of youth safety. She is the author of two children’s books through Free Spirit publishing and speaks at schools across the state. Alison Feigh has her undergraduate degree from St. Olaf College and will be receiving her M.S. in Criminal Justice from SCSU in December. Alison balances her free time between various youth serving organizations and preparing for KVSC’s annual trivia weekend.
Michelle Carlson (Stage Manager) is back to stage managing with GREAT after doing so for HSM2, Miss Nelson is Missing, Willy Wonka and Footloose. Michelle currently works at Riverwoods school at the St. Cloud Children’s Home. Besides working full time and stage managing at night she is also currently enrolled in graduate school in Applied Behavior Analysis at SCSU. And when she finds herself with some free time she enjoys reading mystery books, rollerblading and walking.
Hillary Vermillion (Musical Direction) is proud to be a part of GREAT Theatre’s production of The Sound of Music. In addition to teaching GREAT summer camps, Hillary has been music director for a number of shows including The Music Man, Madeline’s Christmas, High School Musical, Annie, Pollyanna, and Fiddler on the Roof. In her spare time, Dr. Vermillion is a vocal music instructor at SCSU, SRRHS, and SCTCC. Hillary also likes cake.
Steven Minkler (Accompanist) is making his 3rd appearance with Great Theatre. You have heard him before in “Do Black Patent Leather Shoes…”and “Pippi Longstocking.” He is an active pianist/trombonist and vocalist around the St. Cloud and Mpls areas and can be heard in the Veranda Lounge, St. Cloud Symphony, and Great River Jazz Collective. He played for 6 years with the U.S. Marine band where he was named the Marine Corps Musician of the year in 2002, holds a Bachelor’s Degree in music education, and will complete his MBA in May of 2011. Luke Anderson (Assistant Stage Manager) was previously the ASM for GREAT’s production of Willy Wonka. He has also appeared on stage in numerous productions such as The Producers, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast Jr., Disney’s Aladdin Jr., and HSM2.
