Season Member Survey Results!
BLOG TWO
The question on our survey that resulted in the most comments was: If you
were the Director of GREAT for a day and you needed to make cuts in these
economic times, what would you do? A couple things really stood out for
me on this one…
1. Some people were concerned that we were making “cuts” just because the
economy is hurting. We definately would only make cuts if we HAVE to make
cuts to remain a healthy arts organization. And to be truthful we have
already made cuts that nobody has noticed. We cut our fax line, we cut
our cleaning service, we’ve cut some marketing… fiscal responsibility is
important…so that we can continue to create GREAT art! We will not be
cutting what you experience when you attend a show. No way!
2. Many season members mentioned that you don’t need to receive a postcard
AND an email reminder to attend. So for 2009-2010 we will have an “opt
out of postcard” when you renew your season membership. Those who don’t
need the “snail mail” reminder won’t receive it… we’ll save money and
trees! Thanks for the great idea!
