SPOTLIGHT - Behind the Scenes at GREAT

  • Unforgettable Experiences

    Our first two Unforgettable Experiences!!!

Want to submit an unforgettable experience you've had with GREAT? - click here.

From Ashley: At the age of seven I performed my first GREAT Theatre production. Now, as a nineteen year old college student studying film, I have that initial, first experience, to thank for all that I have accomplished thus far. I was nervous and did not know what to expect before I entered my first scene. However, off to the side, I noticed my supportive cast members and audience cheering me on. Knowing that I truly wasn't alone up there on that enormous black stage allowed me to embrace my talents with no restrictions or hesitation. Having been surrounded by such a positive environment and staff at a young age helped shape the way I will forever approach any new opportunity. My experience has motivated me in becoming Miss Minnesota, a team athlete, a musician, a coach, a designer, and an open-minded individual. As GREAT Theatre will continue to grow and host incredible experiences for all, I will continue to live through my experience and for that, I am truly GREATful!

From Kaela: GREAT theatre has always been there for me to enjoy wonderful plays and be in them. I was recently in "The Sound of Music" and I made friends that will last a life-time. Everyone I meet who is part of GREAT is so kind, welcoming, and fun to be around. Thank you GREAT THEATRE!!!

Thank you both for your amazing stories!
