Cast members from Pollyanna patiently wait their turn to walk the route at the end of the Granite City Days Parade.  And as soon as they walk onto the street it starts to rain…hard.  But the cast pushes through and by the end they are soaked to the bone and ready to go home.  Unfortunately for Jess and Chris, their night was just starting.  On the way back to the Tech. Site with the float, a strong gust of wind throws the Pollyanna sign onto the median on Veterans Drive.  Dennis, Joanne, Linda and Carol help bring the sign over to the side of the road then John and his wife Christina come to help disassemble the sign and bring it to the Tech.
