“Being involved in GREAT Theatre is one of the greatest ways to do something WITH your family. It gives me and my kids the opportunity to do something TOGETHER. Time to and from rehearsal in the car … conversations about the experience, and it’s not forced! We all enjoy it. Together.”
“I got involved in the spring of 2006. Since then, 6 of my 8 kids have been in productions – and I dipped my toes in here and there to see what it was all like. In fact, six people from our family were in and involved in “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat”.
And while she herself has “temporarily retired” from the main stage and backstage roles, she often serves as a mentor to new, budding Stage Managers – having been both an Assistant Stage Manager and Stage Manager herself.
“My favorite part of being involved in GREAT Theatre? The people. Watching others grow, develop, and just have fun… it’s wonderful. You really build a community with the people here.”
