“A friend told me about this opportunity – [I signed up because] I was looking for new people to work with and wondered what I can do to put myself out in the community.”
GREAT is excited to introduce the Digital Designer for our Youth Artist Project, Charlotte’s Web: Warner Lolmaughsteymough! Warner is a freshman at Sartell High School and is actively involved in Sartell’s videography and live-streaming team. He started participating in theatre through GREAT’s Summer Theatre Camps at age five. By age ten, his interests shifted from the spotlight of the main stage to the intricate mechanics of the backstage and digital world.
Warner has been shooting commercials and videos for nearly three years and sees this not only as a fun hobby but a possible career path. In the past, Warner has shot live events with Jim McAllister (another videographer in the area) for School of Rock, SCSU Dance Showcase, and the Wirth Center Talent Show. Independently he has produced commercials for Sta-Fit, Mantra Salon, Sartell Family Medicine, and FaceTime Business Resources. He was also responsible for live-streaming Sartell sporting events, Sartell Chamber of Commerce, and Sartell City Council.
“Working with my mentor (Colin Jarrell) has been super chill and [working with this group of people] has been easier than I imagined…I could say something good about each person on the team. We all bounce ideas off each other and they grow into something even better.”
He and the rest of the youth mentee team’s work will debut on April 30th for a livestream of Charlotte’s Web! —> https://bit.ly/3kBsFKx
